Ingredients:
- Whole Green gram dal – 2 cups
 - Moong dal – 1/3 cup
 - Raw rice – 1/4 cup
 - Green chillies – 4
 - Ginger 1 piece
 - Salt
 - Onions 1/2 cup chopped
 - Cumin 1 tsp
 - Oil or ghee
 
- In a bowl add whole green gram dal, moong dal, raw rice and soak for 5hrs or overnight.
 - In a blender add the soaked dal, ginger and green chillies.
 - Grind them to smooth batter
 - Transfer to bowl. Add cumin, salt and mix well.
 - Adjust to dosa batter consistency.
 - Heat a dosa tawa and add a ladleful batter and spread into thin layer.
 - This is optional. You can add finely chopped onions over the dosa.
 - Smear with some oil or ghee.
 - Allow to cook golden color.
 - Fold and transfer to plate.
 - Serve the pesarattu with any chutney.
