Do not forget to subscribe the channel<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cuisine: Indian<\/li><li>Course: Lunch<\/li><li>Prep time: <\/li><li>Cook time:<\/li><li>Serves: 3 persons.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Methi leaves &#8211; 2 cups<\/li><li>Small onions &#8211; 1\/2 cup chopped<\/li><li>Tamarind extract &#8211; 1 cup<\/li><li>Gingelly oil &#8211; 3 tbsp<\/li><li>Mustard seeds &#8211; 1 tsp<\/li><li>Coriander Powder &#8211; 1\/2 tbsp<\/li><li>Sambar Powder &#8211; 1\/4 tbsp<\/li><li>Chilli powder &#8211; 1\/2 tbsp<\/li><li>Turmeric &#8211; Pinch<\/li><li>Fenugreek seeds few<\/li><li>Hing<\/li><li>Tomatoes &#8211; 1 chopped<\/li><li>Coconut Paste &#8211; 1\/2 cup<\/li><li>Jaggery<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In a claypot or wide pan, add gingelly oil.<\/li><li>Once oil is hot add mustard, fenugreek seeds and hing.<\/li><li>Add small onions and cook until they are soft.<\/li><li>Add tomatoes and cook until they soft and mushy.<\/li><li>Add finely chopped methi leaves \/ Vendhaya keerai.<\/li><li>Once the keerai cooks well add turmeric, red chilli powder, sambar powder, coriander powder and salt.<\/li><li>Now add coconut paste and mix well.<\/li><li>Cook for about 2-3 mins<\/li><li>Add tamarind extract and allow them to boil for 15mins<\/li><li>Add jaggery little.<\/li><li>By now, the gravy should have reduced it quantity.<\/li><li>Turn off and serve hot with rice.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Note:<\/strong> Baby shallots gives more taste than normal onions.<\/li><li>Also you can skip jaggery if you do not prefer.<\/li><li>When these gravies are cooked on claypot, it enhances the taste and makes it yummy.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cuisine: Indian Course: Lunch Prep time: Cook time: Serves: 3 persons.
