It is usually very thin and served as sides for parotta, idly or dosa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cuisine: Indian<\/li><li>Course: Gravy\/ Side dish<\/li><li>Prep time: 10mins<\/li><li>Cook time: 30mins<\/li><li>Serves: 5 persons.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Oil &#8211; 4 tbsp<\/li><li>Green chilli -4<\/li><li>Curry leaves few<\/li><li>Onion &#8211; 1 cup<\/li><li>Ginger garlic paste &#8211; 1 tsp<\/li><li>Tomatoes &#8211; 2 chopped<\/li><li>Potato -2 small<\/li><li>Coriander powder -2 tsp<\/li><li>Turmeric &#8211; 1\/4 tsp<\/li><li>Red chilli powder &#8211; 2 tsp<\/li><li>Fennel powder -1 tsp<\/li><li>Salt as required<\/li><li>Water 3 cups<\/li><li>Coconut shredded &#8211; 1\/2cup<\/li><li>Cashews few<\/li><li>Poppy seeds &#8211; 1 tsp<\/li><li>Coriander leaves few<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In a Pressure cook add oil. Once oil is hot add green chilli and curry leaves. Fry for a min<\/li><li>Add onions and little bit salt. Cook onion until they are soft. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for few mins.<\/li><li>Add tomatoes and cook until they are mushy. Once tomatoes are cooked add chopped potatoes and fry for a min.<\/li><li>Add coriander powder, turmeric, fennel powder &amp; red chilli powder. Mix them well and cook them for 3mins.<\/li><li>Add water and salt and mix well. <\/li><li>In a blender add coconut, cashews and poppy seeds and grind them to smooth paste by adding little water.<\/li><li>Add the coconut paste to the gravy and mix well.<\/li><li>Close the lid and pressure cook for 2 whistles.<\/li><li>After 2 whistles open  the pressure cooker and garnish with coriander leaves. <\/li><li>Serve the gravy with parotta or idly or dosa.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Note:<\/strong> You can also add mixed veggies of your choice.<\/li><li>Adding potato is optional.
