I never preferred upma. This recipe is one healthy breakfast and nutritional one. This upma is best suited for diabetic people. When loaded with veggies, it can be a quick lunch box recipes for kids too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cuisine: Indian<\/li><li>Course: Breakfast<\/li><li>Prep time: 10mins<\/li><li>Cook time: 20mins<\/li><li>Serves: 4persons.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Oil- 2 tbsp<\/li><li>Mustard seeds- 1 tbsp<\/li><li>Chana dal- 1\/2tbsp<\/li><li>Urad dal- 1\/2 tbsp<\/li><li>Cumin &#8211; 1 tsp<\/li><li>Curry Leaves Few<\/li><li>Green chillies 4<\/li><li>Ginger- 1 tsp<\/li><li>Onions- 1\/2 cup<\/li><li>Veggies of your choice- 1\/2 cup( beans, carrot, peas, potato etc.)<\/li><li>Wheat rava &#8211; 2 cups<\/li><li>Water- 3 cups<\/li><li>Salt as required<\/li><li>Coriander leaves few<\/li><li>Ghee- 1tsp<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Turn on saute mode on Instant pot with medium temperature.<\/li><li> Add oil once it is hot. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter.<\/li><li>Add chana dal and urad dal. Fry until golden color<\/li><li>Add cumin seeds now.<\/li><li>Add curry leaves, green chillies and ginger. Fry them for a min.<\/li><li>Add onions and saute until they are soft.<\/li><li>Add the chooped veggies and mix them well.<\/li><li>Now add the wheat rava and mix everything.<\/li><li>Add water and salt and mix well. <\/li><li>Now close the lid and seal the vent. <\/li><li>Cancel saute mode and turn on pressure cook mode. <\/li><li>Set the time for 5mins and high temperature.
