It is a combination od urad, chana dal and fried gram. They are very popular in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. It is usually spicy. You can adjust the spice level according to your taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cuisine: Indian<\/li><li>Course: Sides<\/li><li>Prep time: 5mins<\/li><li>Cook time: 10mins<\/li><li>Serves: 1 Jar<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Coconut oil- 1 or 2 drops.<\/li><li>Urad dal- 3\/4th cup<\/li><li>Chana dal- 1 cup<\/li><li>Dry red chillies -10 to 12 nos.<\/li><li>Curry leaves Few<\/li><li>Sesame seeds- 1\/2 cup( Optional)<\/li><li>Fry gram- 1\/2 cup<\/li><li>Hing<\/li><li>Salt as required.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In a broad pan add coconut oil. Then add urad dal, chana dal and red chillies. <\/li><li>Fry them until they are golden brown.<\/li><li>Add curry leaves and fry them.<\/li><li>You can add sesame seeds at this stage and fry them as well. I skipped as we are allergic to them.<\/li><li>Add fried gram and roast them for a min.<\/li><li>Turn off and cool down.<\/li><li>Transfer to a blender, add salt and hing.
